Happy Buddha
Happy Buddha, also known as Budai (in Chinese) or Hotei (in Japanese), is a well-known figure in East Asian culture symbolizing happiness, abundance, wealth, and good fortune. He is not the same as Siddhartha Gautama, the historical Buddha of Buddhism, but is considered a folk deity and wandering monk who brought joy and prosperity wherever he went.

Happy Buddha is popular in homes, restaurants, shops, and temples as a good luck charm and symbol of contentment.

📖 Characteristics of Happy Buddha:
Depicted as a plump, bald man with a big belly, laughing face, and cheerful expression
