Garuda Wisnu
Garuda Wisnu refers to the majestic depiction of Lord Vishnu (Wisnu), one of the principal deities in Hinduism, riding on his mythical mount Garuda, a giant, eagle-like creature. This image symbolizes protection, strength, and divine guardianship.

In Hindu mythology:

Wisnu (Vishnu) is the god of preservation and protection, responsible for maintaining balance in the universe.

Garuda is a powerful bird-like being, known as the king of birds, often depicted with wings, a human body, and a beak-like face. He represents speed, power, and unwavering loyalty to Vishnu.

The most famous and monumental representation of this is the Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) statue in Bali, Indonesia. Standing at 121 meters tall, it is one of the tallest statues in the world and has become a national landmark. The statue portrays Lord Vishnu riding Garuda as a symbol of the mission to protect the environment and humanity.

In Balinese culture and Hindu belief, the image of Garuda Wisnu conveys courage, protection from evil, and the victory of good over darkness.
